The college football season is approaching. There is always debate over ranking the best players in the sport. Here are the top 25 college football offensive tackles heading into the 2023 season.
Note: While projection of what a player can be is taken into account, most rankings are from what has been seen on the field so far. These are not NFL Draft rankings, but rather focus on the best players in college football.

Jones is one of the more experienced tackles in all of football with 31 starts under his belt. He gets plenty of reps pass blocking in Mississippi State’s offense.
19. Reuben Fatheree, Texas A&M Aggies
Fatheree was a Freshman All-American in 2021 and played solidly in 2022 as well. He’ll have to help improve Texas A&M’s offense if the Aggies want to compete in the SEC.
18. Marques Cox, Kentucky Wildcats

In 2020, Goncalves was a Freshman All-American. He has played well since, making the All-ACC Third team in 2022.

In 2021, Milum was a Freshman All-American. He played well in 2022 and now is a preseason All-Big 12 pick at a few publications.
14. Troy Fautanu, Washington Huskies
Fautanu has played both tackle and guard at Washington, but is a better fit at tackle. He was a Second Team All-Pac-12 selection last season and can help Washington’s offense thrive again in 2023.
13. Robert Scott Jr., Florida State Seminoles
Scott has started at left tackle for Florida State for the last three seasons. Last season was his best yet, as he made Second Team All-ACC.
12. Blake Fisher, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
